About Ms. Tse
Kristie Tse, MA, LMHC, NCC, is one of the skilled and compassionate therapists at Uncover Mental Health Counseling PLLC in Midtown Manhattan.
Kristie attended New York University, where she earned her Master’s degree in mental health counseling and an Advanced Certificate in LGBT health, education, and social services. Prior to that, Kristie attended CUNY Brooklyn College, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and gender & sexuality studies. While in her Master’s program, she completed an Advanced Certificate in integrated mental health and addictions treatment training from Columbia Psychiatry, New York State Psychiatric Institute. Post-Master’s, Kristie completed a 350-hour certification training in alcoholism and substance abuse and a 200-hour yoga teacher training certification.
Kristie uses a multicultural lens and an empathic stance to address long-standing emotional barriers, challenge distorted thinking, and change behavioral patterns that may be holding her clients back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
She specializes in intergenerational trauma, emotion regulation, addictive tendencies, identity issues, and LGBTQ+ mental health issues.
Kristie is an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), New York Mental Health Counseling Association (NYMHCA), and Psi Chi: International Honor Society of Psychology.
